Cleanliness of the premises

Cleaning and disinfection protocol :

  1. Remove all visible waste: the presence of visible contamination or organic material (in particular faeces) inactivates most disinfectants.
  2. Wash the area with water and detergent.
  3. Rinse the washed area thoroughly to remove all residual detergent (some disinfectants may be inactivated by detergents; it is thus crucial to thoroughly rinse the area)
  4. Leave the area to completely dry.
  5. Select and apply the most appropriate and effective disinfectant.
  6. Give the product sufficient time to act (contact time may vary depending on the disinfectant, but it is generally a minimum of ten minutes). Remove all residual disinfectant and leave the surface to dry.
  7. Remove all residual disinfectant and leave the surface to dry.
