Students visiting the Liege Abattoir (located in Droixhe and belonging to the “Viande de Liège” Company) and related companies (quartering, cutting and processing facilities).
Students carry out inspection practical work on the bovine and porcine slaughter chains at the Liège Abattoir (Droixhe) and in Aubel (Lovenfosse). One guided tour of the Maasmechelen poultry abattoir is also planned.
