In the isolation room
Check the internal healthcare sheet
BEFORE leaving the premises, do not forget to complete the healthcare sheet.
Dispose of all waste in the yellow bin.
Remove and dispose of your gloves
Remove your gloves AFTER having cleaned and disinfected everything that has been used
Wash your hands
A washhand basin is provided as well as handwash products (soap, disinfectant and paper)
Procedure for washing hands with soap
Wet hands and forearms with hot water.
Add at least 3-5ml of soap
Work up a lather and rub both sides of each hand (10-30 seconds) including the forearms, under rings and nails
Rinse with hot water until all soap residue has gone
Do not turn off the tap with your bare hands, use a paper towel
Dry your hands with a paper towel
Sanitising procedure
Start with the fingers
Finish with the hands and wrists
Use paper to turn off the tap and close the bin
Open the door to the airlock with your elbow
In the air lock
Close the door
Walk through the footbath
Remove single use equipment from top to bottom
First the cap, then the mask, then the apron and finally the overshoes
Throw away disposable equipment
Hang the apron on the coat hook if it is clean.
Walk through the foot bath
Open the door to the airlock with your elbow
In the corridor
Close the door
Put your apron on again and pick up your personal items
Wash and disinfect your hands once again
Complete the external healthcare sheet
