User guide : Scenarios
Introduction:
For each clinic and high-risk area, various scenarios were established, as required (e.g.: classification of animals according to their category of risk in the small animal clinic and the equine clinic, or classification in terms of activity in the CARL).
A common structure for all scenarios
A scenario may represent both an activity and a place. Whatever the nature of the scenario, the following structure will be followed (only useful information will be given):
Before :
- Access: practical information (plan) enabling access to the area or the risk activity
- Dress and equipment: list of pictograms (and photos) relating to personal hygiene, equipment to be supplied and equipment provided on site.
- Procedures and preparation: information divided into people, equipment, premises and animals. The procedures are organised from a chronological point of view (time-scale).
During :
- Behaviour: list of pictograms relating to behaviour to be adopted.
- Movement: information divided into people, equipment and animals.
- In the event of an accident: specific procedures to be followed in the event of an accident (general and specific to certain scenarios).
After :
- Waste disposal: general information relating to disposing of waste depending on the context (high risk-area or activity)
- Exit procedures: information divided into people, equipment, premises and animals. The procedures are organised from a chronological point of view (time-scale).
