Preparation procedure for people

For any examination performed in the Imaging unit

Before entering the unit


Put on a CLEAN equipment

People accompanying an animal from a clinic of the three CVU areas keep the equipment belonging to the clinic where the animal came from.

For x-ray and angiography only

In the examination rooms


Put radioprotection equipment on

  • Thyroid guard

    Put on a thyroid guard

  • Lead apron

    Put on a lead apron (companion animals) Put on a lead apron (large animals)

  • Lead gloves

Radioprotection equipment is available on the coat stands in each x-ray and angiography room
