Preparation procedure for animals

Register the animal before coming to the imaging unit; a person provides a request form correctly filled, and on which the infectious risk is pointed out.

Register the animal at reception before bringing it to the imaging unit.

For ultrasound examinations: shave the area to be examined with a clipper dedicated to the animal from the clinic of origin.

Bring small animals on a stretcher or in a portable cage (cats and new companion animals).

Dog on a stretcher to enter the imaging unit. Cat in a portable cage to enter the imaging unit.

Calves, foals and small ruminants are also transported on a trolley.

Place a yellow plaster on the halter for large animals

Put a yellow collar to companion animals

Phone the imaging unit before leaving the clinic of origin.
