Exit procedures for people

All opened supplies will be disposed of in the waste container.

Supplies not used and NOT OPENED (e.g. infusion bags still in their double packaging) will be disinfected with Umonium® in the isolation unit before being returned to the Clinic.

All medical and maintenance re-usable equipment will be cleaned then disinfected a first time with Umonium® before leaving the isolation unit (according to the procedures set out in the biosecurity SOPs).

All reusable cloth equipment (e.g. blankets) will be soaked in disinfectant before leaving the unit.

After the first disinfection in the isolation unit, all equipment will be sent to the main cleaning room for autoclaving.
