All basic equipment and supplies are available on site (sampling tubes, compresses, needles, etc.).
In order to avoid wastage, no basic supply should be brought to the isolation unit at each visit.
Basic material necessary for patients’ care is stored in wall cabinets, identified as “horse 1/horse 2”, in In the anteroom for animals. These cabinets must remain closed at all time and the material should be handled with clean hands!
Buckets, disinfectants, pump and funnel for reflux are stored on the shelves.
