Disinfect all medical equipment or maintenance equipment used in Class 3.

This part affects PATO staff.

Equipment must be disinfected according to the procedures set out in the biosecurity SOPs.

Disinfect equipment in the class 3 unit.

Tidy away equipment

The equipment is disinfected a first time on site (Umonium®) then sent to the main laundry room.
This part affects PATO staff.

Return medical equipment found in front of the horse's box once the horse has left the clinic:

  • probes, pumps and buckets: to the wash area ()
  • other material: to the analysis laboratory ()
