Dealing with waste
Legislation relating to respect for the environment is in force.
Manure
Manure and straw are stored in specific places.
Liquid manure
Liquid manure from dairy cattle is stored in waterproof tanks.
Contaminated waste
Dispose of contaminated waste in appropriate containers: large yellow containers or small yellow containers for needles and sharps.
Staff or students (under the supervision of staff) are asked to seal the yellow containers when they are full and to bring them to their storage location (shed identified next to the container and chemical waste storing area).
