Personal items

CLEAN ordinary clothes

Students should wear appropriate clothing (T-shirt/pullover - trousers - shoes) which is suitable for the weather.

It is forbidden to wear overalls and/or boots.

Under no circumstances should this clothing have been worn to another pig farm or in another high risk area (such as necropsy room) without having been washed.

Specific precautions


Do not visit another swine farm and avoid any (direct or indirect) contact with wild boar

IN THE CONTEXT OF AFRICAN SWINE FEVER (ASF), IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDENT TO VISIT ANY OTHER PIG FARM OR HAVE CONTACT WITH PIGS WITHIN THE 72 HOURS FOLLOWING ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT CONTACT WITH A WILD BOAR.

During the preceding 72 hours, as well as during the week of activities organised by the Swine clinic:

  • Do not visit any other pig farm or necropsy room.
  • Avoid all contacts with wild boar.
